Ronaldo grateful to Man Utd fans for support
Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his gratitude to the Manchester United supporters for backing him this season after being targeted by the boo-boys amongst opposition fans. Although the media have been quick to portray Ronaldo as the villain of the piece in Wayne Rooney's World Cup sending off, the United fans, as expected, have offered the ex-Sporting Lisbon starlet unequivocal support.
The pantomime booing of his every touch looks set to continue for the foreseeable future but it is not affecting the 21-year-old at all.
"It's something that will happen every time we play away from home, but I remain calm," he told A Bola.
"I concentrate on the game and, as soon as it starts, I tell myself that it's nothing to do with me. I try only to think about the match."
Ronaldo is delighted to be receiving the continued support of the United fans. " to let them know that they have a special place inside me," he declared. "I wanted to thank them in a special way for all the support they have given me, particularly in this game here, and to tell them I am Manchester [United] through and through - in my heart and soul."

Ronaldo praised for his courage
Sir Alex Ferguson has been impressed by the courage shown by Cristiano Ronaldo in the face of animosity from opposition fans – declaring that the 21-year-old winger has been “fantastic” and “courageous”.
Ronaldo has become the pantomime villain at away grounds around the country with fans treating the Portuguese winger as the scapegoat for England’s World Cup exit.
Sir Alex never doubted that Ronaldo would react in a positive way. He said: “Cristiano has been fantastic. But I’m not surprised at all. In fact, I’d have put my life on him playing well. He’s got fantastic courage and belief in himself and he is improving.”
The United boss has witnessed, first hand, the kind of abuse Ronaldo has had to contend with.
“On Wednesday I watched a fan up and down, screaming and shouting and bawling at Cristiano,” he said. “He didn’t watch the game at all for the first ten minutes. He must have had a bad Portuguese meal one time.
“Eventually it was mumbles at the end, exactly what I thought would happen. He got fed up, his throat got sore.
“Great players always get it,” he added. “It’s about having the courage not to be intimidated by it and take the game to the opponent. That’s what he does. I don’t think he relishes [the reaction he gets] but he isn’t intimidated by it. He has got real character.”

Now it's time to introduce you Ronaldo's girlfriend: Merche Romero, an half portuguese half spanish 30 years old, that loves use her relationship with Ronaldo to become more famous and won more money... She was model but now works in portuguese television. They start their relationship after paparazzi said that they were toghether! As professional i don't like to see her work, but seems that Cristiano likes really of her, and the same with her. This is the most important.

aaa hm thank you but let´s keep on talking about Cristiano instead of things we don´t really know. Don´t take this as an offence please, I just want him to have his private life for himself. Whom he dates with or sth like that belongs to Cristiano alone. I never wanted to have a space her in where girls in love with players are talking bad about wives/gf or dates. Thank you for your personal comment about her though.

Thank you for your personal comment about her though. Well, let me tell you that the only part that really was my opinion was when I said that I don't like the way she works. The rest are facts and doesn't seem that is the first time here that someone talks about girlfriends of players… Second, nothing that I said is from his private life. If were wouldn't be published on newspapers... And I work for one.. But I thank you for your sympathy and understanding.

If were wouldn't be published on newspapers... And I work for one.. But I thank you for your sympathy and understanding. 1st: Exactly the fact that we had such talks here before is the reason why I begged you not to do. 2nd: Already Merche appearing here on a thread about Cristiano means we have put our noses into private stuff too much. I have no prob with talk about his house, what he does, how he plays ect, but with whom he spends his nights and what we think about that is sth I hope will not be discussed here. 3rd: I know you are working for a newspaper and that´s why I think you understand that not everything published in papers is morally right. We all have our personal point of view and the short comment you did on her I respect and am glad you did it but I will not judge about anything. This is a free board here but we have let´s say principles. I am sure you understand me and I thank you for posting here in this thread becuz otherwise it would be a dialogue between Zig and me ;D
