So , yeah actually you all could imagine that once such a thread would be opened haha ;D . For all the people who don´t know about this : I am studying name research and I am totally crazy about names and their meanings . I´d like to know which names you like and why you like them . I will try to answer your questions about meanings if you have some . I start with my favourite male name [glow=red,2,300] DIEGO[/glow] it´s a name with Spanish origin , normally people think that the name was created out of Sant Jago with a fault in doing the t away . Jago ---> Jacob (Christian name) . new results show that it could be a name with celtic origin out of celtic DI -- special , and DACO/DAGO -- good , which latin form of it --> Didacus was known in the 10th century in the north of Spain one of my favourite football players has this name with a wonderful family name too --> Diego Forlan (Villareal) I like this name becuz its melody is wonderful in my opinion , it sound like floating water . . .

Do you know the meaning of ''Jay'' ? I like that name.. Jay is a name that was just used as a short form for lots of names that begin with Jay- or Ja- or just J- , so it could be almost everything , e.g Jason , Jacob years after they used to give their children the nick people liked to give just the nick as a full name , but itself has no meaning , you need to know the longer name it was a short form for
