So , yeah this thread has to be here guys becuz we are educated people so I guess we all like to read books from time to time . Let´s share our experiences . You can tell us what you like , what you don´t want people to read and so on . I will start with telling you that my favourite male author is Alessandro BariccoHe writes novels and theatre plays that are full of senses and heart . Two of the best books I have ever read were written by him ---> Novecento and Oceano MareThe first one was also the basis for THE LEGEND OF THE OCEAN PIANIST . Great movie , great music (by Ennio Morricone ) , GREAT BOOK

hm,, I like to read books from Evert Hartman, he's my favorite writer! too bad he died.. (RIP) I don't like siencie fiction books. Well not all of them, like Harry Potter, I like those books or books about vampires. But not about aliens and stuff. I love to read books, where stuff happens what can happen in reality!

I love the Harry Potter books, read them, and know why I love them ;D Evert Hartman books are good too, but I don't like the open ends he used... but I love 'war-books' and detective novels, or hospital novels. I love almost all kinds of books...

The Lord of the Rings is also a book with an open end , it´s good . . . I like open ends becuz 1.you have to think about a book and its story affter the end more deeply and 2. the author can always come back and continue if he once finds himself interested in it . I love long rows becuz you can get much more into the stories and characters . As I often told I LOVE Anne Rice and her famous row The Vampire ChroniclesShe is my mistress of row . I´ve never read that kind of deep emotion before. I love it . I just LOVE it !!!
